Nordgreen is a brand new to me, specially here in the Philippines. But after my research, I’m surprised that this brand has more than 6,500 five star reviews!
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
Nordgreen is the combination of two Danish words. “Nord” is the characteristic of their Nordic identity, while “green” embodies the company’s commitment to the environment, thus their packaging is FSC certified and environmentally friendly.
Nordgreen is a Scandinavian watch brand designed in Denmark and was launched in 2017. It is the brainchild of partners Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt. Their focus is to build a brand that has sustainable practices while at the same not sacrificing the design. In line with this, they appointed their Chief Designer none other than Jakob Wagner to envision their collection. For 25 years and counting he still continues to make his make mark on Danish design. Both Nordgreen and Jakob are recipients of the Red Dot Award in Product design.
Nordgreen aligns its CRS initiatives through its “Giving Back Program”. I really commend the brand for this! For every purchase of a Nordgreen watch, part of the sales goes to the NGO of the buyer’s choice.
